Terms of Service

Effective 2026-08-22

These terms cover your use of Riffroom, an AI creative companion for YouTube creators operated at riffroom.ai ("Riffroom", "we", "us"). By using Riffroom, you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the service.

Early access

Riffroom is in early access. It is offered to a small number of creators while we build it, which means features will change, break, and occasionally disappear; output quality will vary; and there is no uptime commitment. Do not use Riffroom as the only home for anything you cannot afford to lose — keep your own copies of work that matters.

Your account

You need a Google account and a YouTube channel you control or are authorized to act for. Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and at least 13 (or the minimum age required in your country).

Your content and your channel data

You own your content. Your videos, your channel and its data, anything you write or upload into Riffroom, and the ideas, outlines, and scripts Riffroom generates for you are yours to use however you like, including commercially. We claim no ownership of them.

You grant us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store, process, and display your content and connected channel data in order to generate, review, and develop work for your channel, as described in the Privacy Policy. That permission ends when you delete your content or your account, apart from copies in routine backups aging out on their normal cycle.

Riffroom generates text with AI models. Generated output can be wrong, derivative, or unsuitable, and similar output may be generated for other users from their own material. You are responsible for reviewing anything you publish, and for making sure it complies with YouTube's terms and applicable law.

Our service

We own Riffroom — the software, models, prompts, interfaces, brand, and everything else that makes up the service. These terms do not transfer any of that to you. You get a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use Riffroom while your account is active.

Acceptable use

Do not:

Fees

Riffroom is free during early access. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you the terms in advance, and you will not be charged for anything without agreeing to it first.

No warranty

Riffroom is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that the service will meet your needs, that output will be accurate or original, or that it will work without errors or interruption.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost views, or lost or corrupted data, arising out of your use of Riffroom. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or US$100. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You can stop using Riffroom at any time: revoke our access in your Google Account permissions and email [email protected] to have your data deleted. We may suspend or end your access at any time during early access — including if you breach these terms, or if we discontinue the service — and we will make a reasonable effort to give you notice and a chance to export your work first. The sections on content ownership, warranty, liability, and governing law survive termination.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. If a change is material, we will update the effective date above and notify connected creators by email. Continuing to use Riffroom after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Riffroom is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute will be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction. (Specific jurisdiction to be designated before general availability.)
